Meggitt PLC secures £ multi-million contract with Japanese aftermarket specialist Hamanaka Sangyo Corporation

Meggitt PLC, a leading international company specialising in high performance components and subsystems for the aerospace, defence, and selected energy markets, has secured a 5 year contract with Japanese aftermarket specialist Hamanaka Sangyo Corporation,  for the supply of spares on a dual-use engine for aerospace and marine applications.

Meggitt will be supplying engine control technology to Hamanaka Sangyo Corporation, a recognised industry leader for engine spares distribution, ensuring comprehensive, OEM quality, lifecycle support for this legacy engine.

Adrian Plevin, Senior Vice President for Meggitt’s Services and Support division said: “We recognise the importance of providing full lifecycle care for all our customers. OEM quality spares are of particular importance when a platform has been in widespread service for over four decades, we are proud to be able to support Hamanaka on this legacy platform.”
