Properly inflated tires are crucial for safe, smooth aircraft operation. Checking tire pressures can be time-consuming and a significant inconvenience for both crew and passengers, depending on environmental conditions and ease of access to the valve stem. Our wireless solution makes checking tire pressures as easy as answering a phone call.
iPRESS™ features the breakthrough Parker Meggitt long-range wireless sensing technology. Just stand in front of your aircraft. open the installed dedicated app on your smartphone or tablet, and instantly read the tire pressure of each wheel.
The iPRESS™ system includes one Wireless Tire Pressure Sensor (WTPS) assembly per aircraft wheel. It transmits tire pressure and other data to your smart device (compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems) via a tire pressure monitoring feature integrated into your aircraft manufacturer’s app. iPRESS™ is designed for easy installation and retrofit.
WTPS assemblies are installed on each aircraft wheels. They are made of a smart pressure sensor device and a pressure sensor holder replacing the original wheel valve stem.
Powered by Parker Meggitt’s ground-breaking long-range wireless sensing technology, iPRESS™ uses a Wireless Tire Pressure Sensor (WTPS) assembly for each aircraft wheel to transmit tire pressure and other essential data to your smartphone or tablet. It is compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems. For the best iPRESS™ experience, Parker Meggitt is partnering with aircraft OEMs to provide you with the tire pressure checking feature fully integrated into the OEM’s app on your smartphone or tablet.
Wireless Tire Pressure Check is a fully integrated feature of the Textron Aviation Service APP available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
Parker Meggitt is currently working with various aircraft OEMs for app compatibility with additional platforms.
iPRESS™ starter kit consists of 1 pressure sensor and 1 pressure sensor
holder per aircraft wheel. We are constantly expanding the list of covered
