Meggitt acquired this base in 2004 with the design and manufacturing business of Dunlop Aerospace. It immediately put an investment programme in place to turn the former Dunlop Aircraft Braking Systems wheels and brakes distribution and MRO centre into a much broader facility, gradually adding more Meggitt product lines and addressing the needs of aftermarket customers in the wider Asia Pacific region.

Today, Meggitt Singapore provides MRO, parts distribution, sales and marketing and field technical support for a wide range of Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems lines, Dunlop Equipment engine valves and Vibro-Meter temperature, pressure and vibration monitoring sensors. With the addition of Meggitt’s Serck Aviation lines in 2009, the facility became one of very few MRO centres for heat exchangers in the Asia Pacific.

Meggitt Aerospace Asia Pacific supports airlines, the aftermarket organisations of the major aircraft constructors and engine overhaul facilities and distributors across the whole Asia Pacific—India, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.
