Contracts for Meggitt on new Boeing 777-200 LR |

Meggitt group companies Whittaker Controls and Meggitt Safety Systems have received contracts for products on Boeing’s new 777-200 LR, claimed as the world’s longest range commercial aircraft.
Whittaker Controls is supplying a sump eductor valve for the aircraft’s powerplant (General Electric’s GE90-115B engine), an optional seven-inch forward cargo air conditioning valve and an in-flight entertaining system cooling valve.
Meggitt Safety Systems is providing flight lock actuators for each of the 777-300’s ten doors.
